EFFEN•stil is a Danish webshop with a carefully selected assortment of clothing, accessories, wardrobe care, and creative products. The assortment includes both pre-loved items, new items, and products created or further processed using recycled materials.

2. Prices and Payment

All prices on the webshop are stated in Danish kroner (DKK) and include VAT, where applicable according to current VAT regulations. The payment options available for each purchase are shown at checkout. The time of payment or reservation of the amount depends on the chosen payment method and payment provider.

We reserve the right to correct obvious pricing errors. If an item has been incorrectly displayed at an obviously wrong price, we are not obligated to complete the purchase at that incorrect price. In such cases, we will contact you as soon as possible.

3. VAT

EFFEN•stil is VAT registered. For the sale of goods, different VAT rules may apply depending on, among other things, the nature of the item and the company's use of relevant VAT schemes.

For pre-loved items, the margin scheme for second-hand goods may be applied when the conditions for doing so are met.
For the sale of new items, VAT is calculated and handled according to the general applicable VAT rules.

4. Products and Product Information

At EFFEN•stil, we select our products with a focus on quality, function, aesthetics, and value. We sell both pre-loved and new products, and the type of item is always clearly stated in the individual product description.

Pre-loved items: Pre-loved items have had a previous life and may therefore show normal signs of previous use. We always thoroughly inspect items before sale and describe any relevant faults, defects, or noticeable signs of wear in the product description. Since our universe primarily consists of unique pre-loved finds, items are generally considered pre-loved. The fact that an item is pre-loved does not change your statutory rights as a consumer.
New items: To make it easy and clear to distinguish, we mark new items with a special bullet point (e.g., • New product) or state it directly in the product description. New products are sold in accordance with the information and specifications provided on each product page.
Second Chance: EFFEN•stil has a separate Second Chance category, which includes both new and recycled products. Here you will find products that have been manufactured, further processed, or refined from textiles and materials that might otherwise have been discarded. This could include, for example, recycled finds given new life, as well as brand new products such as creative kits and patches created from existing materials. The specific condition, material, and properties of the product are always stated in the individual product description.

5. Product Images and Colors

We strive to display products as accurately as possible. However, colors and appearance may vary slightly depending on lighting conditions, photography, and screen settings, among other factors. Product images may be indicative, unless otherwise stated in the product description.

6. AI-based Virtual Fitting Room

For selected products, you can use EFFEN•stil's AI-based virtual fitting room. This feature is optional and allows you to upload an image to visualize how selected garments might look on you.

The virtual fitting room is solely a visual aid. The result is indicative and cannot guarantee how a product will look or fit in reality. Information on the processing of images and any personal data can be found in our Privacy Policy.

7. Order Confirmation and Binding Agreement

When you complete a purchase on the webshop, you will receive an electronic order confirmation at the email address you provided. An order is only binding for EFFEN•stil once the order has been accepted and processed by us, subject to, for example, out-of-stock items, obvious pricing errors, or technical errors. If we are unable to deliver the ordered item, we will contact you as soon as possible and refund any amounts already paid.

8. Delivery

We offer delivery to parcel shops and private addresses via our collaborating shipping partners. The current delivery options, shipping prices, and estimated delivery times are shown on the webshop at checkout. You can find further information in our Delivery Policy.

9. Right of Withdrawal

As a consumer, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal when purchasing on the webshop in accordance with applicable consumer protection regulations. The withdrawal period runs from the day you, or a person you have designated, takes physical possession of the item.

If you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify us of this before the expiry of the withdrawal period at retur@effenstil.dk. The specific conditions for return and refund are stated in our Return & Complaint Policy.

10. Right to Complain

When making a purchase as a consumer, you have a 24-month right to complain according to the rules of the Sale of Goods Act.

Pre-loved items: When purchasing pre-loved items, the age of the item, previous use, and normal signs of wear must be taken into account. Conditions that you were clearly informed about before the purchase do not constitute a defect. The right to complain is not limited solely by the fact that an item is pre-loved.
New items: Covered by the right to complain according to applicable rules.

If you discover a fault or defect, please contact us as soon as possible at retur@effenstil.dk with your order number and images and a description of the problem.

11. Limitation of Liability

We strive to ensure that the information on the webshop is correct and up-to-date. However, errors may occur, including typing errors, technical errors, pricing errors, or errors in stock status. We reserve the right to correct such errors to the extent compatible with applicable law. Nothing in these terms and conditions limits your inalienable rights as a consumer.
