From private passion to a transparent shop

The love for hand-picked quality and good brands has been with us for many years.
Over time, we have learned what true quality really means: Good branded clothing made from strong natural materials lasts longer, retains its fit, and can delight new owners again and again.

We have created an honest and transparent alternative to classic secondhand:
A curated webshop where every single item is carefully checked, evaluated, and prepared, so you can always be 100% confident in your next sustainable find.

A UNIVERSE FOCUSED ON QUALITY

At EFFEN•stil, you'll find a curated universe for women, children, and men — focusing on style, quality, and great brands. A large part of our selection is pre-loved and vintage, but we also supplement with carefully selected new items and products that naturally fit into our way of thinking about wardrobes. We personally check all items, assess their condition, and professionally prepare the clothing. With our digital fitting room, you can also get a much better feel for how the clothes fit you before making your decision.

WHAT DOES "EFFEN" MEAN?

"Effen" is an old expression
for being skilled at one's craft, for doing something properly —
or simply for something that is exceptionally good.
For us, it is more than just a word; it is a very specific feeling.

It's the feeling that hits you when you make an unusually good find.
When you hold an almost new Burberry dress with extra buttons on the tag, a sun-yellow Malene Birger blazer, or a stylish Ganni dress, and immediately feel the quality:

"Wow, this is just effen good."

SECOND CHANCE — WHEN MATERIALS GET A NEW LEASE ON LIFE

Our own Second Chance line is created from the idea that strong, quality materials should never go to waste. It's a creative universe for recycling and circular design that extends beyond the classic wardrobe.

Here you'll find our self-developed second chance craft kits, unique textile packs, and specially selected products, where we handpick, cut, and assemble discarded clothing and fine textile remnants into well-conceived creations.

We've done the preliminary work, sorted, and prepared the materials for you, so you get a well-thought-out starting point for your own creative projects — whether you're sewing something new, doing patchwork, designing accessories, or creating cozy projects with the family.

Strong natural materials and good finds deserve the right care to maintain their fit, softness, and appearance year after year. After all, the most sustainable wardrobe is the one already hanging in your closet.

Under Wardrobe Care, we have handpicked gentle tools and care products—from wool care and gentle refreshing to proper storage. This makes it easy to maintain your textiles in everyday life, extend the lifespan of your clothes, and protect the environment.

WHO IS BEHIND IT?

EFFEN•stil is run by us, Inge and Mads.

We are both involved in purchasing and selecting products, while Inge handles the great ideas, and Mads manages IT, the webshop, and the technology behind the scenes.

Together, we delve into everything from materials and fits to the excellent shopping experience, so you can easily and confidently find your next favorites.
