The kit is ready to use — no preparation needed. Here's how to get started:

• Lay out all pieces and notice the textures — Soft Meadow combines soft knit, light gauze, and silky materials, each adding character.
• Use the large pieces as a base or background, and the small ones as accents and details.
• The appliqué and buttons are great as decorative elements on cushions, bags, or textile art.
• Sewing, gluing, embroidering, or cutting and pasting — anything works. There are no rules.
